Ronnie Drillsma

Ronnie has been teaching art for 16 years. She has a studio in the garden of her home in NorthWales, where she has recently developed a painting style using rollers and collage. Ronnie uses Acrylics with the rollers to create texture in her work and will then use collage and other effects to create detail.

“I like to explore materials and tools to find out what textures can be achieved” she says,” I use a sketchbook to store all these in so that I have some adaptable visual references”.

Ronnie’s work usually reflects the rugged Welsh landscape where she lives, exhibiting work in West Kirby and The Cotswolds.
